Pets and animals

While we love animals, we kindly ask that live pets not travel on board for their comfort, safety and wellbeing.

Smoking

For the comfort and safety of all passengers and crew, smoking is not permitted inside terminals or on board our aircraft.

Flying while pregnant

Pregnant passengers are welcome to fly, however we kindly suggest consulting your doctor ahead and carrying your pregnancy records.

Restricted items

Although Sri Lanka is not under a significant threat, we take your security very seriously. In order to minimize safety and security risks for our passengers, we have restricted the carriage of following items in carry-on luggage or in checked luggage on board FitsAir aircraft:

Explosive material
Explosive devices
Realistic replicas of explosive devices
Firearms
Realistic replicas of firearms
Ammunition for firearms
Realistic replicas of ammunition
Self-defence or martial arts equipment
Tools with blades
Containers with compressed gas
Flammable materials
Satellite phones – especially to India
