Terms and Conditions

1. The insurance has an age limit of up to 75 years, with a 50% surcharge applied to travelers over the age of 65. (Individuals over 60 years old must complete the attached health declaration form)
2. Coverage is only available to Sri Lankan residents.
3. The territorial coverage includes Sri Lanka, Dubai, Chennai, the Maldives, and Bangladesh.
4. Coverage terminates five days after departure from Sri Lanka or until the traveler returns home, whichever occurs first.
5. There is a sublimit on Section 02: Medical Coverage Limits for Travelers Aged 56 and above.

6. Refunds are not permitted once purchased.
7. COVID Cover: The Company shall cover the medical hospitalization of the Participant in case of illness related to COVID-19, up to the maximum limit set in the Schedule of Benefits. This coverage will only be granted if a negative PCR test, or any equivalent COVID-19 test approved by the country of origin’s authority, is conducted within 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure or if any travel requirements mandated by the destination country are fulfilled.
   
   Claims related to mandatory COVID-19 diagnostic tests, such as pre-departure and post-arrival tests required for the trip, are not covered. Coverage will strictly apply to medical complications related to COVID-19 and not to any pre-existing, known, or unknown pathology.

   Subject to the following condition: If COVID-19 is re-declared as a pandemic in the future, it will then be strictly excluded from the treaty following such a declaration.
